Robyn Stacey is currently artist in residence at the Herbarium of the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney.

Photographing over twelve months she has produced a series of images that range from the scientific to science fiction. From Parry's expedition to the North Pole in 1825, specimens that evoke history and a sense of scientific adventure, to surreal montages which depict familiar and unusual plants in brooding landscapes.
